If you want to kill the trophy of a lifetime, we are the people to talk
to! We have years of combined experience between our outfitter and our guides that
were born and raised on the ranches we hunt or in the surrounding areas. We offer
high quality hunts for Western Muleys, Antelope, and a limited number of
Elk in the mountains of New Mexico. Success has been high with the help of their highly experienced guides.
This outfitter either owns or has
secured over 100,000 privately owned acres for the express purpose of guiding our clients
to their "Trophy of a Lifetime." That trophy has proven to be within reach
for all of our clients year-in, year-out.

We are currently working on putting together several other hunt packages. These
hunts include quail, and varmits. For those not interested in harvesting an animal,
we also provide a photo hunt to capture the many trophies on film, for a memory that will
last for years to come! Give us a call for your next hunt!
All elk hunts include all accommodations, and meals.
Bow
Elk (Either Sex Permits):
This hunt is during the rut. The big boys are really talking to you and make the
experience exhilarating. These tags are
either sex and the hunting period is from September 1-20.
This is the best time to get in close for the big bulls and find the trophy
of a lifetime. It is very likely that you will encounter that monster bull that only
haunts you in your dreams! The hunt is fully guided and they only take a limited
number of hunters. One on one guide service
is provided for this hunt.
Rifle Bull Elk:
This hunt is after the first main
rut, however with luck you will hit the second rut where the big boys are still a little
dazed and confused. This hunt is a five-day
hunt and is
fully guided. We
recommend that this hunt be taken on the first rifle hunt in the area that is usually from
October 19-23. There is only space for a
limited number of hunters on this hunt because they provide one on one guide service.
Rifle Cow
Elk:
This hunt coincides with the rifle bull and we recommend that the hunt be taken during the
October 19-23 time frame. They have a limited
number of permits for this hunt also.
DEER HUNTING
| They have implemented an intense management program to produce consistent trophy
deer. You can expect to see several bucks
during the hunt and most all of the hunters have at least one opportunity at a buck that
is big enough to scare you! In the past they
have had several bucks in the 30+ inch category. In
the hunt last year a young fellow took a good 27-inch buck that was so old he had no teeth
whatsoever. Several gentlemen have had
opportunities and unfortunately have missed a couple of their bucks that were estimated to
be over 30 inches. They prefer to harvest
deer that are twenty inches wide at a minimum. Their management plan requires that
they take only the biggest deer. They offer two hunt dates and weapon types for the New
Mexico mule deer:
Rifle:
The first rifle hunt is five days
in length. This hunt begins in late November
and ends by the second of December.
The date is subject to the
New Mexico Game and Fish hunting schedule. The
rifle hunt is a challenging hunt that will lead you in pursuit of the muy grande buck.
This hunt is prior to the rut, which makes the hunt a
challenge in anyones opinion. They take
only a limited amount of hunters and have developed the quality of this hunt to an
unprecedented level. Their guides really love
this hunt because it pushes their abilities to the maximum.
The pursuit of these larger bucks will stop your heart in it's tracks. This hunt is fully guided with accommodations and
meals provided. A guide and transportation
will be provided. They try to keep this hunt
one on one hunter to guide, with very few circumstances having two clients to one guide.
Bow:
This bow hunt is ten days in length and usually begins the second of January through the
eleventh of January. The best strategy for
this hunt is the spot and stalk method. This
hunt is a challenging hunt that occurs when the big boys are in the later stages of the
rut. You will see a lot of deer and have
opportunities to stalk many monsters! The
bucks have all of their attention focused on the does and the hunter can work his way into
a position that will give opportunity for a kill. They
take a limited number of hunters for the amount of country they have to hunt . The outfitter will have accommodations and meals
provided for the hunters along with several guides who will point out ranch boundaries
assist in the retrieval of game and give advice on tactics.
The guides will get you headed in the right direction for the stalk. Most hunters who take this hunt are independent,
prefer to hunt on there own, however, if you request they will provide this hunt to you
fully guided for an additional fee. This
hunt is great, and is a personal favorite of most.
ANTELOPE
HUNTING!
This hunt is a two-day hunt that occurs on a
weekend closest to September 20th. They
prefer to harvest bucks that are of the fifteen-inch class and up. Last year they had several hunter's harvest
eighteen-inch bucks with the average right at fifteen and one half inches. The quality of this hunt is excellent. They provide accommodations and meals. A guide is provided with transportation to take
you on your quest. By noon of the first day
ninety percent of the hunters are typically filled out with the hard-core trophy hunters
still
trying to choose which buck to take. Most
hunters choose the rifle hunt as the weapon of choice, however they will accommodate to
individual hunter needs and provide muzzleloader or bow hunts upon request. You can really enjoy this hunt and not miss many a
day of work. |
