The Lodge and its cabins are in an exceptionally beautiful location. The majestic 8000' Vick’s Mountain which looms behind the cabins, is part of the Ts'yl-os Mountain chain. Mountain goats can be seen through binoculars from the Lodge. Beece Creek, which flows past the decks of the lodge is great for fishing.

The Lake is only 10 minutes from the lodge. The scenery is beautiful in every direction...the Chilcotin Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to lush pine forests, miles of meadows, and water the colour of turquoise. In July and August the meadows are blue with lupines.

Sauna: Sheltered by pine trees on the banks of Beece Creek and wood powered of course!...a private wilderness retreat!

Hunts are primarily done by horseback from cabins throughout the territory. From there we continue by horse or on foot for day hunts or overnight stays in remote spike camps. Each camp offers unique and varied terrain with elevations from 4350'-10,000'.

The yearly Mule Deer migration through our territory from the Coast Mountains offers an abundance of quality bucks for trophy class hunts; the potential for taking Mountain Goat and Moose trophies is excellent. The area boasts healthy Black Bear, Timber Wolf and Lynx.

This Outfitter believes a successful hunting experience includes:

• Making every effort to locate your ultimate trophy animal
• A deep respect for the animal and environment
• Healthy food that adds to your comfort and enjoyment
• Comradeship and lasting memories

964 Square miles of this outfitters territory lies in the middle of the Chilcotin Mountains and reaches into the Coastal Mountains along its southwestern border.

The Huntable Species:

Mule Deer  September 1 to October 21
Moose  September 10 to October 31
Mountain Goat  September 1 to October 31
Black Bear  Sept 1 to Nov 30 & April 1 to May 31
 Wolf  Sept 1 to Mar 31 & April 1 to May 31
Lynx  Nov 15 to Dec 31

Down Time: Caping and handling of trophies and meat is the responsibility of the outfitter.  hunting time will be temporarily held while your guide prepares your trophy animal.  All trophies will be prepared to transfer to the taxidermist or salted to take home.

Policy On Wounded Game: When a shot animal gets away it is up to the guide to determine if the animal was hit hard enough to die or not.  Should the wound be fatal, every effort must be made to recover the animal.  After one day of searching, and the animal has not been found it is the hunters choice whether to continue the search until the end of the hunt or to hunt a different species if another tag is in hand.  The wounded animals tag must be cancelled.

Responsibilities Of The Hunter: The guides will be able to give you a rough estimate of the potential trophy size.  They will do their best to make sure the animal is what you want and is legal; the final decision will be the hunters.  Be sure before you pull the trigger.  If an illegal animal is shot, it must be reported.  The cost of taxidermy and shipping of the trophies is the hunter's.
